Joe Thornton

Joe Thornton is an experienced investor and advisor, currently serving as an Angel Investor at Pie Chart Ventures since January 2024, and as an Investor in various organizations including Spotted Zebra, Skiller Whale, Omnipresent, Rensource Energy, and SensorFlow. Thornton has held a Partner position at Playfair Capital from March 2015 to September 2023 and was a Board Member at Learnerbly from January 2018 to April 2020. Additionally, Thornton serves on the Supervisory Board of Cocoon Capital Management, a venture firm focused on Southeast Asia. Thornton's prior experience includes working as a Technical Recruiter at Facebook from March 2014 to March 2015. Thornton holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Galway.
