Daniel Thero

Daniel Thero serves as a Senior Lecturer and full-time Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since January 2012, teaching a variety of courses including Introduction to Philosophy and Environmental Philosophy. Prior to this role, Daniel Thero was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy & Religious Studies at The College of Saint Rose from August 2007 to May 2011, where courses included Ethics and World Religions. Daniel Thero also has experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Siena College from June 1993 to July 2005, focusing on topics like Metaphysics and Ethics. Daniel Thero holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy from the University at Albany, a Master’s Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Siena University, in addition to a high school education from La Salle Institute and K-8 education from Saint Ambrose School.
