Jane Rigler

Jane Rigler is a seasoned music educator and facilitator with extensive experience in academic and artistic settings. Currently serving as a Grant Writer at Choice Words LLC and a Deep Listening Facilitator with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 2016, Jane Rigler has also held the position of Associate Professor in the Music Program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs since 2010, focusing on interdisciplinary courses and Deep Listening. Jane's previous roles include a Fulbright Scholar and Lecturer at University College Cork, where a course on Experimental Music was taught. Additionally, Jane's background includes work as a Teaching Artist for various arts organizations, highlighting a commitment to music education for diverse age groups, including children with disabilities. With a Ph.D. in Experimental and Contemporary Music from UC San Diego, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in flute performance, Jane Rigler brings a rich academic foundation to all professional endeavors.
