Jeff Miner has extensive experience in information technology and education, serving as the Special Advisor to the Chief Information Officer and Assistant Vice President of Information Services at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since November 2001. In this role, oversight is provided for the Enterprise Information Services, Client Information Services, and Library Information Services departments. Additionally, Jeff has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor in Information Technology and Web Science. Prior to the current position, Jeff worked as a Technical Manager at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies from June 1978 to July 2001. Jeff's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as an Associate degree in Engineering Science from Hudson Valley Community College.
