Juergen Hahn

Juergen Hahn serves as the Director of the Jackson Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since August 2012. In addition to this role, Juergen is a Professor with appointments in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering, and also holds the position of Department Head for the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer. Prior to this, Juergen was an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University, where Juergen also served as an Assistant Professor. Juergen began academic research as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at RWTH Aachen University. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
