Karen Chopra

Karen Chopra currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Operations & Business Intelligence at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Karen worked at Syracuse University from June 2016 to October 2023 as the Executive Director of Prospect Development and Analytics, where leadership in business intelligence and analytics significantly advanced philanthropic efforts. Prior to Syracuse, Karen was the Senior Director of Prospect Research and Data Analytics at the University at Buffalo from January 2008 to June 2016, leading initiatives in prospect pipeline development and predictive modeling. Karen's career began at Dawnbreaker, Inc. as a Market Research Analyst, supporting advanced technology firms. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Syracuse University and a Master of Library Science from the University at Buffalo.
