Malik M.

Malik M. is a Professor of Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since January 2000, specializing in research, teaching, and consultation in AI and Machine Learning. Malik co-founded and serves as President of CollegeAI, which leverages Machine Learning and AI to assist high-school students in selecting suitable colleges, starting in June 2017. Malik has also worked as an AI and Machine Learning and Algorithms Consultant for Goldman Sachs from June 2022 to December 2023, focusing on machine learning applications in computational finance. Previously, Malik held the position of CTO at Goldfinger Management Ltd from 2002 to 2014, where the focus was on fully automated high-frequency financial trading and hedge fund analytics. Malik earned a PhD in EE/Physics from Caltech, following a BS in Physics from Yale University and a Cambridge A-Level from St. Georges College.
