Martha Grabowski

Martha Grabowski is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in research and teaching. At Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since 1988, Martha has held various roles including Distinguished Senior Research Scientist and Research Professor. Concurrently, since 1987, Martha has served at Le Moyne College as Professor Emerita and has held leadership positions such as Chair of the Department of Management, Leadership, Human Resources & Information Systems. Additional experience includes serving as Chair of the Marine Board for the Transportation Research Board from 2020 to 2022, and a background in the corporate sector at GE and maritime roles with Hvide Shipping Company and El Paso Marine Co. Martha holds a Ph.D. in Management/Information Systems from RPI Lally School of Management, along with an MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering and an MBA with a focus on Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
