Mathias Lange

Mathias Lange has extensive experience in both professional hockey and coaching. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach for U18 and U20 teams at the Austrian Ice Hockey Association since July 2022, Mathias also holds the position of Assistant Coach and Director of Hockey Operations at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since October 2019. A former professional hockey player, Mathias played for several teams including Iserlohn Roosters GmbH and represented Olympic Team Austria as a goaltender in 2014. In addition to a successful playing career, Mathias has a background in sales and business development within the sports industry, working with companies such as Trayn and Canaras Services. Mathias holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from RPI Lally School of Management, earned between 2005 and 2009.
