Sue Ballard

Sue Ballard currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Employee Engagement and Advancement Operations at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Ballard was with Syracuse University from February 2016 to May 2023, where Sue held the role of Associate Vice President for Employee Engagement and later as Vice President for Alumni Engagement, focusing on employee engagement programs and alumni relations. Ballard's extensive experience includes leadership roles at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Mount St. Joseph, and Bowling Green State University, where responsibilities spanned donor relations, major gift cultivation, and alumni engagement. Ballard holds a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hartwick College.
