Wayne Gray is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in cognitive science, computer science, and industrial & systems engineering. Since 2002, Wayne has served as a Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where contributions include co-directing the ARCH Lab and leading the Human Factors and Applied Cognition Program. Prior to this, Wayne held a professorship at George Mason University and was involved as a Visiting Scholar at Max-Planck-Institut für Bildungsforschung. Wayne's industry experience includes working as a Member of Technical Staff at NYNEX Science and Technology, where notable projects included the influential Project Ernestine. Additional academic contributions include a Visiting Research Scholar position at Carnegie Mellon University. Wayne earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
