Yara Nieuwenhuis

Yara Nieuwenhuis is a consultant at Statsforvalteren i Troms og Finnmark, currently working as a biologist at Rent a biologist. With a background in biology and previous experience as a museum host, hotel receptionist, and cleaner, Yara has also worked as a democracy guide, tour guide, and student mentor. Additionally, Yara has experience as a student intern, northern lights tour guide, and kitchen assistant. Yara is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biology: Freshwater Ecology at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, having previously completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a sammensatt bachelor with a focus in Political Science. Prior to entering university, Yara completed pre-university education with a specialization in art, design, and architecture.
