Steven Savary

Steven Savary has a diverse work experience with Rent-A-Center. Steven started in 2003 as a Lead Assistant Manager and Customer Account Manager before progressing to the role of Store Manager, where they successfully turned around a failing store and made it one of the top-performing stores in the company. Steven was then promoted to District Manager, where they managed multiple stores and achieved significant sales growth and profitability improvements. Steven also played a key role in implementing the AcceptanceNOW rent-to-own financing option, leading to its expansion across multiple stores and company-wide rollout. Subsequently, Steven held various senior management positions in Strategy and Business Development, Operations Improvement, and Business Human Resources. In their current role as Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development, they are responsible for driving the corporate strategic plan and identifying innovative improvement projects.

Steven Savary attended Chatham High School from 1995 to 1999, where they received their high school diploma. Steven then went on to attend Elon University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, Steven holds the certification of SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the institution of SHRM.
