Ashley Hester

Ashley Hester has a long history of professional experience. Ashley began their career in 2011 as a Food Service Assistant at Aurora West Allis Medical Center. In 2015, they joined Alverno College as a Retention Communication Assistant, where they managed work projects for the Advising Office and Registrar Office, provided outreach to 175+ students on leave, maintained supportive communication through calls, emails, letters, and text messages, scheduled appointments, developed procedures for office staff, designed and implemented new strategies for outreach, and created, implemented, and coordinated a biannual event titled, “Student on Leave Event”. In 2016, they became a Career and Education Specialist at Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee. In 2017, they joined Marquette University as an Advancement Officer, Young Alumni and Student Giving and Program Coordinator: Rural Community Outreach, Health Careers Opportunity Program. Most recently, in 2021, Ashley became a Digital Marketing Coordinator at CollegePads.com. Through their outreach efforts, 53 students returned from a leave of absence in Spring 2017, and they were awarded the Outstanding Student Employee Leadership Award 2017 for their efforts.

Ashley Hester graduated from Alverno College in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, and minors in Adult Education and Psychology. Ashley then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Marquette University. In 2021, they obtained a Digital Marketing certification from HubSpot.
