Katie Jo Gonzalez

Katie Jo Gonzalez's work experience begins in 2012 as a 5th-grade teacher, where they created cross-curricular lessons, supported gifted learners, and integrated technology into their teaching. Katie Jo then transitioned to various roles within the Alief Independent School District, including Instructional Technology Specialist, Digital Learning Consultant, and Campus Communications Coordinator. In their most recent position as District Technology Trainer, they managed the development and updating of Digital Learning curriculum, launched new professional learning courses, supervised a team, and served as an administrator for the Learning Management System. Katie Jo also collaborated with multiple departments to develop new professional courses and analyzed the effectiveness of training programs. Katie Jo will soon be starting a new role as an Instructional Designer at Rent.

Katie Jo Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2011.
