Greg Murray

Greg Murray is a Senior Entomologist at Rentokil Initial since September 2021, focusing on innovation projects from proof of concept stage. Prior to this role, Greg served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Institut Pasteur from April 2020 to October 2021, collaborating with Felix Hol and Louis Lambrechts on mosquito biting behavior and insect virus interactions, utilizing video analysis and machine learning to enhance understanding of arbovirus transmission. Greg's experience also includes a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine from February 2015 to April 2020. Academically, Greg holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Behaviour and Behavioural Ecology from Bournemouth University, a Master’s by Research in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Lancaster University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology and Behavioural Ecology from the University of Dundee.
