Sam Doherty

Sam Doherty is an accomplished professional in product design and engineering, currently serving as the Hygiene & Wellbeing Innovation Manager at Rentokil Initial since May 2019. Previously, Sam held roles including Senior Applications Design Engineer/Project Manager at Rapid Washrooms Limited, where expertise was applied in designing smart washroom products for high-usage commercial environments, and Product Designer at Lymn Associates, overseeing product design from concept to market. Additional experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Specialized Fabrications, focusing on bespoke civil engineering, and as a Student Research & Development Engineer at Elta Fans LTD, where industrial fan models were tested and developed. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Product Design & Innovation from the University of Portsmouth, obtained in 2012.
