Dave Byrne is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the energy sector. As the Founder and President of Renua Energy since April 2018, Dave has spearheaded the completion of over 30 community solar projects in New York State, utilizing a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business status to enhance project development partnerships. Prior to Renua Energy, Dave held several key positions, including Senior Solar Sales Manager at LG Electronics, focusing on business development for solar and energy storage solutions across the Northeast. Dave also served as Northeast Solar Sales Manager and Sales/Project Manager at Hudson Solar, where responsibilities included residential, nonprofit, and commercial solar system sales in the Hudson Valley. Additionally, Dave has a military background as Detachment Commander in the New York Army National Guard and Battalion Intelligence Officer in the US Army. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree.

Why Renua? Renua Energy was established in 2013 to bring customized commercial & utility solar engineering, permitting, and project development solutions to the marketplace. We are unique simply because our services are comprehensive and we have successfully designed and permitted over 30 community solar projects across New York State. In 2020 we recognized a surge in demand for electric vehicles we added EV charging station (EVSE) installation to our portfolio. It is part of our vision to lead the local infrastructure and empower business owners with increased revenue and cash flow. Renua Energy offers project developers and EPCs a timely and effective alternative to traditional development and engineering solutions.
