Joan Betancourt

Joan Betancourt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joan is currently working as an Office Administrator at Renuity since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Property Manager at OFS Property Holdings from June 2022 to June 2023.

Joan has also held the position of Corporate Operations Officer at 4 Points Market from June 2022 to June 2023. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including managing the Human Resources department, supporting the accounting department, and assisting the Corporate Office with project management and organization.

Before joining 4 Points Market, Joan worked as an Executive Assistant at the Hispanic Entrepreneur Initiative from August 2021 to September 2022. Joan started as a Summer Intern at the same organization in March 2021 and was promoted to the role of Executive Assistant after 150 hours. In this position, they handled branding marketing, event organizing, content creation, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer programs.

Joan also has experience as a Supervisor at Raw Jūce from March 2021 to May 2022. In this role, they supervised a team of 20+ employees, handled logistics, customer service, building regulation, and inventory management.

Additionally, Joan co-founded NicaScapes in January 2015. NicaScapes was a facilitator for tourists exploring the beautiful places in Nicaragua, with a focus on safety, affordability, and fun. Joan'srole in this venture lasted until May 2018.

Joan Betancourt pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2019 to 2020, they attended Ocean County College and obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, they enrolled at Watson Institute and Lynn University simultaneously, starting in 2020 and expected to finish in 2023. At Watson Institute, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Entrepreneurship, while at Lynn University, they are working towards another Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
