Pelle Haukaas is an experienced operations and management professional with a strong background in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Currently serving as Chief Officer of Operations and Managing Director at Reope since May 2022, Pelle previously held the position of Head of Service Development AEC at Symetri Europe from October 2019 to May 2022. Pelle's extensive experience also includes roles as Head of Section for Model Control and Digital Collaboration and BIM Strategist at Multiconsult from January 2015 to October 2019, as well as Project Manager/BIM Manager positions at Cad Quality AS from April 2001 to January 2015. Earlier in the career, Pelle worked as CAD Manager at Hobas Aqua Products AS and as a Draftsman at Mercur Subsea Products ASA.

The AEC industry will never achieve its true digital potential until architects, engineers, and contractors start learning to code. For too long, we have handed over software development to IT companies that have little or no understanding of the challenges of our design and construction processes. At the same time, this has caused us to completely lose ownership as drivers of digital innovation. Reope is part of the international Bad Monkeys network of companies and individuals, spanning over three continents from Los Angeles to Brisbane. We collaborate on several projects and combine our skills and experience when needed.
