Dr. Moritz Weltgen

Dr. Moritz Weltgen has a diverse range of work experience. Dr. Moritz is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of RepairFix, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, from October 2019 to October 2022, they worked as a Mentor at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Weltgen also has experience as a Lecturer at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where they taught "Advanced Topics on Digitalization, Transformation and Management: Applying Design Thinking" at the Institute for Informations Systems and New Media from September 2017 to September 2022.

From October 2018 to December 2019, and from July 2017 to September 2018, Dr. Weltgen worked at etventure, first as a Senior Projektmanager & Chapter Lead and later as a Projektmanager. Prior to this, from October 2013 to July 2017, they served as a Research Assistant at WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management.

Furthermore, Dr. Weltgen has experience as a Professional Athlete in the Handball-Bundesliga from July 2006 to June 2015 and completed an internship at GRUNDFOS from October 2010 to March 2011.

Dr. Moritz Weltgen began their education in 2007 at Kiel University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften. After completing their undergraduate degree in 2010, they continued their education at Kiel University and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Wirtschaftswissenschaften in 2013. In 2016, Dr. Weltgen served as a guest lecturer in Strategic/ Innovation Management at Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies. Dr. Moritz then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Dr. rer.pol.) at WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management from 2013 to 2017.
