David Bonita

David Bonita, M.D. has served as a member of the board of directors since September 2019. Dr. Bonita is a member of OrbiMed Advisors LLC, an investment firm, where he has held various positions since joining in June 2004. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Tricida, Inc. and Imara Inc. Dr. Bonita previously served on the boards of directors of several other public and private companies, including Ambit Biosciences Corporation, Clementia Pharmaceuticals Inc., Loxo Oncology, Inc., SI-BONE, Inc. and ViewRay Inc.

Prior to joining OrbiMed, he worked as a corporate finance analyst in the healthcare investment banking groups of Morgan Stanley and UBS. Dr. Bonita has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals based on signal transduction research performed at Harvard Medical School.

He received his B.A. in biology from Harvard University and his joint M.D./M.B.A. from Columbia University.
