Mattes Groeger

Mattes Groeger is an Engineering Lead with a diverse background in startups and scaleups, specializing in climate tech, music streaming, and mobile games. Currently serving as CTO and Co-Founder at Atem, they focus on leveraging blockchain technology to combat the climate crisis. Mattes previously held engineering roles at IDAGIO, where they advanced from Senior iOS Developer to Director Of Engineering, and at Wooga in various development positions. They have also engaged in academia as a Visiting Lecturer at both Hochschule Harz and Berlin University of Applied Sciences. With a Diploma in Media Informatics from Hochschule Harz, Mattes is known for their expertise in building user-centric products and leading high-performing teams.
