Erik Segur

Erik Segur has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and management. Erik is currently working as a Security Tech Lead at REPAY - Realtime Electronic Payments since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Security Engineer at Consumers Energy from September 2021 to October 2023, where they built and deployed security controls and evaluated IT projects against security standards. Before that, they held various roles at Michigan State University, including Identity and Access Management Manager, Cyber Security Engineer, and Application Security Manager. In these roles, they focused on implementing and enhancing security controls, conducting architecture reviews, and evaluating hardware and software for system security.

Erik Segur earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007. Erik also obtained additional certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2021, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2019, and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2018.
