Hoang Tran

Hoang Tran is a highly experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as the Global Director of Downstream Applications at Repligen Corporation since May 2025. Previously, Hoang held various managerial positions at Cytiva from January 2019 to July 2025, including Senior Manager and Regional Manager for Chromatography Resins, as well as working as a BioProcess Hardware Specialist. Hoang’s career began at GE Healthcare as an Applications Scientist from July 2013 to April 2019, following a role as a Sr. Scientist at Igenica Biotherapeutics, Inc., and at OncoMed Pharmaceuticals. Hoang earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCLA and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
