Michael D. Murphy

Michael D. Murphy is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on Automation and Operational Technology (OT) in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Associate Director at Repligen Corporation since September 2018, Michael leads a team driving automation improvements across global manufacturing operations. Prior experience includes roles at Sanofi Genzyme as Manufacturing Engineer III, where Michael facilitated the adoption of manufacturing standards for new drug products, and at Rockwell Automation, where responsibilities included managing automation projects and troubleshooting manufacturing systems. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University.
