Julie Majerczak

Julie Majerczak is a seasoned journalist and communications professional with extensive experience in European affairs and sustainable development. Currently serving as the Directrice du bureau de Bruxelles for Reporters Without Borders (RSF) since May 2016, Julie has previously held positions at prominent media organizations such as Le Parisien, where news coverage focused on European issues, and Terra eco, emphasizing sustainable development. With additional roles as a correspondent for various platforms including Contexte and RTL, Julie delivered insights on European energy, climate, and transport matters. Julie's journalism career began at Libération, reporting on both European and Belgian news, and has roots in political communications, having worked as an assistant in the European Parliament and as a political advisor in the French Ministry of Urban Planning and Environment. Julie holds a Maîtrise in Law from Université Paris V and studied at Sciences Po, strengthening a diverse background in media and public affairs.
