Derek Hutson

Derek Hutson has worked as a Technical Support Engineer at ReportsNow Inc. since November 2019. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer fellow at General Assembly from June 2019 to September 2019. Before transitioning into the tech industry, Derek worked at LIFETIME FITNESS as a Metabolic specialist from December 2018 to June 2019, and as a Personal Trainer from November 2016 to December 2018.

Derek Hutson's education history includes a variety of experiences. In 2019, they attended General Assembly and completed a Software Engineering Immersive program. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they studied Athletic Training at St. Cloud State University, focusing on the field of Sports Medicine. In 2010 and 2012, Derek attended Louisiana State University, although it is unclear what specific degree or field of study they pursued during that time.

In addition to their formal education, Derek has also obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they earned the Microsoft Technology Associate: Database Administration Fundamentals (MTA) certification from Microsoft. In April 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, they have achieved two Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications: the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification in October 2022 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification in August 2022.
