Lorenzo Marotta

Lorenzo Marotta has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Lorenzo started their career at Quintiles, where they worked as a Network Administrator and IT helpdesk. Lorenzo then joined Dynameeting S.p.A. as a Network Administrator. In 2010, they joined Repower as an IT Infrastructure Manager, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the company's main Italian office. In 2013, they also took on the role of Technical manager and ICT Infrastructure Manager, leading a team of 4 people. Currently, they are the Head of IT/OT Security Italy at Repower, focusing on IT and OT security/Cybersecurity. Lorenzo is responsible for leading the Italian Cyberdefense team, managing the internal SOC analysts, and project managing cybersecurity digital transformation streams.

Lorenzo Marotta obtained a Laurea triennale in Scienze politiche e sociali from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore between 1991 and 1997. Lorenzo also holds a certification in VMware Certified Professional 5 Data Center Virtualization from VMware, but the obtained month and year are unknown.
