Anna Pacilio

Deputy Media Relations Director at Reproductive Freedom for All

Anna Pacilio has a diverse range of work experience in the communications and media field. Anna has held positions at various organizations, including NARAL Pro-Choice America, Jennifer Bett Communications, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, EMILYs List, Beto for America, U.S. House of Representatives, The Pew Charitable Trusts, Randle Communications, Runyon Saltzman, Inc., and Edelman.

At NARAL Pro-Choice America, Anna served as the Deputy Media Relations Director.

At Jennifer Bett Communications, they were the Associate Vice President, Social Impact, where they provided support in managing the social impact division, overseeing accounts related to reproductive rights, media organizations, and voting mobilization.

At Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, Anna worked as an Account Director with a focus on social impact and political strategy. Their responsibilities included leading media strategy, managing account deliverables, and securing media wins for clients in social justice, reproductive rights, mental health, and racial justice.

As the National Press Secretary at EMILYs List, Anna managed press inquiries for key individuals and played a role in planning the new president's media rollout.

At Beto for America, Anna served as the Director of Women's Messaging/Spokeswoman, where they acted as a spokeswoman for the campaign and supported a policy framework on women's issues.

During their time at the U.S. House of Representatives, Anna held the position of Communications Director and Speechwriter. Anna focused on increasing media and digital presence and implemented targeted outreach to specific communities.

At The Pew Charitable Trusts, Anna was the Communications and Digital Campaigns Lead. Anna co-led national and state media relations for health campaigns and drafted statements, speeches, and op-eds for Pew's 2016 GOTV efforts.

Anna also gained experience at Randle Communications and Runyon Saltzman, Inc. as an Account Executive and Account Assistant to Partner, respectively. Additionally, they completed a Crisis Communications Internship at Edelman.

Throughout their career, Anna has demonstrated expertise in media relations, strategic communication planning, drafting press materials, securing media appearances, and managing client accounts.

Anna Pacilio has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Sonoma State University.
