Ben Horwath, PhD has held a variety of roles in the engineering and technology fields since 1997. Their career began at Corning Incorporated, where they worked as a Manufacturing Capacity Analyst, Technology Transfer Engineer, Scale-up Project Manager, and Equipment Engineer. In 2001, they joined Phaethon Communications as a Systems Engineer, followed by an Engineering Intern role at Honeywell in 2003. Ben then moved to Santa Clara University in 2004, where they worked as a Wireless Research Engineer. In 2005, they founded AirRay Systems, Inc., where they led strategic planning, system design, and business development efforts. Ben also consulted for Intel as a DSP Consultant through Horwath Technologies in 2012. In 2009, they began working as a Business Development Director at Adaptive Communications Research Inc. and completed their PhD in EE at Santa Clara University in 2009. Since 2019, they have been a Consultant at Horwath Technologies LLC, specializing in analog and digital design. In 2020, they became the Head of Operations at REPROSENT, overseeing corporate governance, financials, and hiring. In their spare time, they continue to work on audio and wireless front end processing.
Ben Horwath, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University between 1994 and 1997. Ben then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University in 2004. Finally, they obtained their Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University in 2019.
