Stanko Cerin

Stanko Cerin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security and compliance. Stanko currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Repsly, where they are responsible for designing and managing the information security and compliance program. This includes monitoring security and compliance, integrating security into business processes, enhancing service and code security, and establishing efficient risk management processes. Stanko has also worked as a Cyber Security and Compliance consultant at Ostendo Consulting Group, where they designed and implemented information security programs for clients in various industries. Stanko has also held positions such as CEO at PINswift and Associate Consultant at idRisk. Stanko's earlier experience includes roles at S&T AG as a Principal Consultant in Business Consulting, where they developed custom tailored consulting products and advised clients on aligning business and IT strategies. Stanko also served as a Business Consulting Manager at S&T Hrvatska d.o.o., where they developed business consulting services and advised clients on business and IT alignment. Prior to that, Stanko worked as an Infosec department manager at ZIK d.o.o. Overall, Stanko Cerin has demonstrated expertise and leadership in information security and compliance throughout their career.

Stanko Cerin completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Advanced Information Technology and Business Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff, from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they obtained several certifications including CGEIT Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT from ISACA in 2010, CBCP Certified Business Continuity Professional from the Disaster Recovery Institute International in November 2007, CISM Certified Information Security Manager from ISACA in 2007, and CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA in 2006. Recently, in December 2020, they became an Ostendo Certified Privacy Professional from Ostendo Consulting Group.
