Carlos Rojas Salazar

Carlos Rojas Salazar is a Senior Operations Drilling Engineer at Repsol, with extensive experience in drilling engineering and operations since September 2009. In the joint venture GRN (Groupement Reggane Nord), Carlos has specialized in real-time monitoring and well engineering modeling for both onshore and offshore wells. Previous roles include Night Drilling Supervisor for exploratory HPHT wells and responsibility for the Sagari Development Project in Peru, where cost-saving measures led to approximately $10 million in savings. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Exploration and Production of Hydrocarbons from Heriot-Watt University and an Engineer's degree in Petrochemical Engineering from the National University of Engineering. Carlos also completed a trainee program at the "La Pampilla" Refinery and in water treatment with Edegel - Endesa.
