Diego González Sombrero

Diego Gonzalez is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in battery technology and product development. Diego worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Alta Motors, focusing on battery pack development, conducting analysis and testing, and progressing proof of concept designs to production readiness. Prior to that, Diego gained valuable experience at Contour Energy Systems, Inc. as an Engineer, specializing in mechanical drawings, 3D modeling, laser welding, and fixture design. Diego's early career included a role as a Mentor at GEAR UP, where responsibilities included guiding student development and organizing educational events and resources. Diego holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
