Marcos Fraga serves as director of communication and Brand, overseeing the Communication, International Communication and Transformation, and Corporate Marketing Divisions, as well as the Digital Communication Department.
He also oversees the Chairman’s Office and reports directly to Repsol Chairman Antonio Brufau and CEO Josu Jon Imaz.
He joined Repsol in 2006, and since then he has undertaken different roles in the company’s Communication Division.
Prior to joining Repsol, he worked as a journalist for Spain’s two main news agencies (EFE and Europa Press), with a focus on economic reporting, as well as for the business daily Expansión. He also collaborated with publishing houses such as Planeta, Altaya, and RBA.
He holds a degree in journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Additionally, he has completed the Repsol Program of Advanced Management (Financial Times/IE Business School) and the Global Chief Communications Officer Program (Corporate Excellence – Center for Reputation Leadership/ESADE Business School).
