Óscar Fernández

Óscar Fernández is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior IA Applied Scientist at Repsol since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading industrial AI projects focused on reinforcement learning and deep learning. Prior to Repsol, Óscar held the position of AI Senior Manager at Accentrue, leading ML/AI project development across various industries. From August 2007 to November 2020, Óscar was a Senior Manager Data Scientist at BBVA, specializing in finance-related machine learning model development and data analysis. Academic pursuits include a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, complemented by an MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Nebrija.
