Raquel Aldaz

Raquel Aldaz is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in global tax structuring and management, currently serving as the Regional Head of Tax for the Americas and North America at Repsol since September 2012. With expertise in M&A across multiple jurisdictions and a comprehensive understanding of tax accounting and compliance, Raquel leads cross-functional teams to implement strategic transactions affecting the company's bottom line. Previous roles include Senior Manager of E&P Tax Planning and Reporting at Repsol, where responsibilities involved international tax planning and project implementation; Director of Taxes at Grupo Montealto, overseeing tax strategy in multiple countries; and various positions at EY, Cuatrecasas, and NautaDutilh focused on international tax planning and advisory. Raquel holds a Master's degree in Fiscal Advisory from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a Bachelor's degree in Law with an Economic specialty from the University of Deusto.
