Yan Dong is a seasoned reservoir engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Reservoir Engineering Advisor at Repsol since June 2008, Yan has held various leadership roles, including the Eagle Ford Subsurface Team Lead and the GoM Reservoir Engineering Team Lead, overseeing teams to enhance development and production activities in key assets. Prior to joining Repsol, Yan worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Chevron in 2008 and at Shell from 2001 to 2007, where responsibilities included supporting integrated studies and reservoir engineering for projects in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska. Yan holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree from China University of Petroleum.
