Matthew Shepherd

Matthew Shepherd has extensive experience in the field of physics education. Matthew started their career as a Physics Teacher at King Edward VII School in 2013 and worked there until 2016. Matthew then joined GEMS Wellington Academy - Silicon Oasis as a Physics Teacher from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Matthew became the Head of Physics at North London Collegiate School Dubai, where they stayed until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Physics at Repton Dubai.

Matthew Shepherd attended The University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics. In 2012, they further pursued their education at the same university and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialization in Science with Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew also obtained two additional certifications. In January 2019, they completed the "MYP Sciences: Managing Assessment in the MYP - Category 3" course offered by Taaleem. Matthew also completed the "Category 1 Physics DP Workshop" course provided by Ibicus Ltd in October 2017.
