Head Of English at Repton Dubai

Remi Adekunle has a diverse work experience in the field of education. In 2015, they started as a Teacher of English at Heartlands High School, where they later became the Second in Charge of English and an Associate Head of House. At Heartlands, their responsibilities included leading the development of the subject area, developing the curriculum, and providing support and training to staff. In 2021, Remi joined Bridge Academy Trust as an Excellence Leader for English, where they supported the development of English across four secondary schools. They also held roles at The Ongar Academy as an Associate Assistant Headteacher and Head of English and Media, and at Repton Dubai as the Head of English.

Remi Adekunle's education history is as follows:

From 2015 to 2018, Remi studied at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, where they obtained a Master of Teaching (MTeach) degree in the field of Education.

In 2014 and 2015, Remi also attended IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, where they completed a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching.

Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, Remi pursued a degree in English Literature at the University of East Anglia. Their specific focus within the field was English Literature (British and Commonwealth).

Earlier on, from 2009 to 2011, Remi studied A-Levels at Woodhouse College (formerly known as Woodhouse Grammar School).

Lastly, from 2004 to 2009, Remi completed their GCSEs at Cardinal Pole Roman Catholic School.
