Ryan Davies has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2002 with an internship at Legal & General where they worked with the Website Marketing Team. In 2004, they joined Atos as a Product Manager for Business Process Outsourcing until 2007. After a brief career change, they joined The Education Specialists and worked there until 2009. From 2010 to 2016, Ryan worked at Ysgol Eirias as a Business and Economics Teacher, taking on various responsibilities such as creating schemes of work and training as an examiner. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Economics at Repton Dubai School, where they are responsible for recruitment, mentoring trainee teachers, and delivering economics and business courses. Ryan has also contributed to university level seminars and presented lecture film series for the school's social media channels.
Ryan Davies began their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business IT from 2000 to 2004. In 2009, they attended IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, earning a PGCE in Business & Economics, which they completed in 2010.
In terms of additional certifications, Ryan received an IBM Certificate in Blockchain Essentials from IBM in August 2018. Ryan also participated in the Repton Middle Leaders Program at Repton Dubai School in July 2017. In September 2016, they successfully completed the Diploma Program Economics Category 2 offered by the International Baccalaureate. In September 2004, Ryan obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner certification from PRINCE2.com.
Currently, Ryan is pursuing studies in the Economics of Money and Banking at Columbia University, with an expected completion date unknown.
