Charlie Hillis

Charlie Hillis has more than 30 years of aviation experience and was most recently Ambraer's head of Commercial Aircraft for North America prior to joining Republic Airways in December 2021. He previously held the positions of President, Embraer Aircraft Customer Services (EACS + EAMS) and Regional Vice President of Sales at Embraer.

While at Embraer, Charlie was responsible for all customer relationships, sales, and marketing activities in North America. He was also engaged in bankruptcy and contract negotiations. His tenure as leader of the North American Commercial team culminated with Ambraer's regional jet (76 seater) market share growing from approximately 50% to over 80%. Charlie was directly involved in the sales of over 1,000 aircraft while in Embraer Commercial Aviation.Early in his career, Charlie also worked in the marketing departments of both McDonnell Douglas and Bombardier.
