Alexander Callahan

Alexander Callahan has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Alexander is currently the Vice President of Home Office Underwriting at Republic Indemnity as of November 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at Zenith Insurance Company (United States) as an Assistant Vice President of Corporate Underwriting from December 2021 to November 2022 and as a Director of Small Business Marketing & Analytics from April 2020 to December 2021. Alexander also worked as a Senior Associate at LDR from January 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Client Strategy & Business Development at Federated Insurance Company of Canada from March 2014 to January 2018. Alexander also worked as a Director of Customer Innovation at Northbridge Financial Corporation from January 2012 to February 2014 and as a Manager of Corporate Development at Lombard Insurance from March 2010 to December 2011. Alexander started their career as a Corporate Development Associate at Northbridge Financial Corporation from August 2008 to March 2010. Alexander had earlier experiences as a Reinsurance Operations Analyst at Arch Reinsurance Ltd for a brief period in 2007 and as a Summer Intern at Markel Insurance from June 2003 to August 2005.

Alexander Callahan completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Finance and Accounting from McMaster University, between the years 2002 and 2006. Alexander then pursued further education by attending the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained their MBA degree with a specialization in Finance and Strategy.
