Vimal Patel

Vimal Patel has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Sr. Web/Java Developer and Manager of IT at Merchant Partners in Los Angeles, where they supported and maintained front-end applications and managed complex software projects.

In 2006, Vimal joined Republic Indemnity and started as a Senior Information System Analyst and Consultant. In this role, they managed software projects and acted as the lead architect for Websphere technologies.

Vimal then progressed to Application Supervisor, where they managed complex software projects and re-architected SCORE using Spring, IBATIS, Primefaces, and JSF 2 framework.

Vimal Patel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. Vimal then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Vimal obtained two certifications from Guidewire Software in January 2014: the Functional Certification for Policy Center 7.0 and the Technical Certification for Policy Center 7.0.
