Mark Merritt

Mark Merritt is an experienced professional in mortgage underwriting and choral directing. Currently serving as a Policies and Guidelines Analyst for RMIC since February 2001, Mark specializes in underwriting mortgage loans, conducting quality audits, and liaising with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Mark also has a rich history in choral music, having directed the VOCE Choral Ensemble since 2011, leading performances in northwest North Carolina and Southwestern Virginia. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter for Irwin Mortgage and Vice President and Branch Manager at NationsCredit Financial Services, where responsibilities included loan analysis, employee management, and business development. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University and additional education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
