Mike Yates

Mike Yates has a strong background in the beverage business, with over 34 years of experience. mike has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Regional Sales Director at Empire Brokerage Co for almost a decade. In 2005, they joined Republic National Distributing Company as the NC State Manager- On Premise until 2008 when they transitioned to become the State Division Manager. mike stayed in this role for 15 years until 2023. In the same year, they also became a Board Member of the NC Distilled Spirits Council. Furthermore, Mike Yates was elected as President of the North Carolina Spirits Association, representing the majority of the spirits business in the state. mike is focused on modernizing regulations and has been involved with the association for over 8 years. In May 2023, they joined Republic National Distributing Company as the Control State Sales Director.
