Brett Alperowitz

EVP, A&R at Republic Records

Brett Alperowitz is the EVP of A&R at Republic Records. Brett previously worked as the Vice President of International at Universal Motown & Republic Group from January 2000 to December 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the international exploitation of Universal Republic Records music and video. Brett also managed the commercial release of physical, digital and mobile products around the globe, while establishing marketing strategies and sales objectives in harmony with international partners. Brett has also coordinated and strategized with Universal Music companies and licensees in over 60 countries, provided marketing data and information, furnished production parts and promotional tools, determined budgets and spending, and facilitated access to artists for touring and promotional visits. Brett has also handled international licensing of music for film, television and advertising. Brett has also worked closely with artists, artist management, concert promoters, booking agents, media executives and music producers from around the world. Brett regularly liaises with the sales, promotion, marketing, publicity, creative, new media, finance, legal & business affairs departments within our company.

Brett Alperowitz has a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida.

They work with Ben Facey - EVP, Global Marketing and Digital Strategy, Joseph Carozza - EVP, Media & Artist Relations, and Kevin Lipson - EVP, Commerce, Streaming & Digital Strategy. Their manager is Monte Lipman, CEO. A direct report to Brett Alperowitz is and Kristina Grossmann - VP, A&R.
