Eli Chitayat

VP, Visual Content at Republic Records

Eli Chitayat is the current Vice President of Visual Content at Republic Records. Eli has held this position since August 2015. Prior to this, they were with Universal Music Group for six years. During their time there, they held the position of Vice President of Original Content.

Eli has been instrumental in partnering closely with cross-functional divisions of marketing, brand partnership, and paid media employees to execute 100s of campaigns. Eli has a clear strategy and vision to reach KPIs. Eli instituted a 3-tiered scalable approach to develop content which includes content for artist channels, partnerships with third-party publishers, and for Republic Records channel.

Under Eli's guidance, Republic Records has created content opportunities for developing artists with third party publishers to leverage their user reach. Some of these partnerships include Samsung, Marvel, TikTok, Uproxx, Flighthouse, Triller, Rebels Labs, Vevo, Music.com, Music Choice, and Studio City Tattoo. Additionally, they have leveraged brand partnerships and conducted research to develop content opportunities and direct-to-consumer fan engagement recommendations; resulting in a newfound source of revenue. Lastly, they have evolved data-driven episodic content based on fan affinity data for emerging artists.

Eli Chitayat attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in management from San Diego State University.
