Brandon Young

Brandon Young is the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Republic Services, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Brandon served as Chief Information Security Officer at Avnet from March 2019 to October 2021 and worked at Charles Schwab as Managing Director of Cybersecurity Framework & Risk Assessment from November 2016 to March 2019. Brandon's extensive experience in cybersecurity includes significant positions at Honeywell, where responsibilities included developing enterprise cybersecurity programs and risk management frameworks in various leadership roles from June 2009 to November 2016. Early career experience includes consulting in information security at Calence. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, earned between January 1995 and January 1997.
