Susan Villanova

Susan Villanova has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Susan started their career at GMAC ResCap/Ditech, where they served as a Site Underwriting Manager, managing a team of underwriters and implementing customer service programs. Susan then moved on to DHI Mortgage, where they were the West Regional Underwriting Manager, responsible for overseeing a team of underwriters and fostering strong relationships with production branches. Next, they joined CalAtlantic Homes as the Vice President of Underwriting, leading a team of over 35 and directing all aspects of credit risk for the company on a national level. Susan then took on the role of Vice President of Operations at RSMC, followed by their current position at Republic State Mortgage, where they serve as the Vice President of Operations.

Susan Villanova has a background in Mortgage Licensing, as they attended NMLS in 2010 with a focus on this field of study. Susan also holds additional certifications such as the NMLS and VA SAR designation, both obtained in 2010. Furthermore, they obtained the FHA Direct Endorsement 1989 certification from HUD in January 1989, as well as the VA Automatic underwriting designation in the same year.
